Do taxis in Barcelona take credit cards?
According to the taxi authority you can pay in cash or by card, and most taxis have a card terminal. Tell the driver you want to pay by card before the trip starts. Drivers must give change for notes up to €20.

Tipping is not expected. Many people round up the fare or leave a euro or two for help with heavy luggage.
